Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division
The mission of the Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division is to promote public safety, support economic growth, and the responsible sale and consumption of liquor and tobacco products, through the fair administration of liquor and tobacco/nicotine laws.

Liquor Licenses
Colorado is a dual licensing authority for the state's licensed retailers and special event permittees. Liquor licensing in Colorado requires retailers to first obtain license approval at the local government level.
The purchase limit as of 1/1/2025 for certain on-premise retailers from off-premise retailers is $7,000 annually.
