Division of Racing Events
Our mission is to promote and foster public confidence in the pari-mutuel industry protecting the welfare of both equine and human participants through fair, consistent, proactive enforcement of appropriate policies, statutes, and Colorado Racing Commission rules.
Racing Licenses
The Division of Racing Events issue licenses in five categories for individuals and businesses that meet licensing requirements.
Please note that these appointments are limited during the off season and are primarily used during the live racing season at Bally's Arapahoe Park.

The Division of Racing Events will hold a virtual stakeholder rulemaking workshop on January 30, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am via Zoom web conferencing.
