Colorado Division of Gaming’s January 2025 Figures Show Decrease in Total Adjusted Gross Proceeds and Total Taxes Collected

Lakewood - March 11, 2025 -  Limited gaming followed similar trends to consumer spending in January 2025 as concerns about inflation, the price of everyday goods, and seasonal spending habits caused Americans to pull back on spending.

Colorado Division of Gaming data shows they spent less in January with the State collecting almost $2 million less in tax revenue than in December 2024 – about a 12% drop. During the same period, Total Adjusted Gross proceeds (AGP) dropped almost 15% from $94,990,237.68 to $80,877,082.53.
