2026 Responsible Gaming Grants Awarded, Totaling $3.7 million dollars

Lakewood - February 19, 2026 - Today the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission awarded $3,783,954.50 in 2026 Responsible Gaming Grants.

This grant cycle marks the fourth round of Responsible Gaming Grants since the passage of House Bill 22-1402. Since 2023, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission has awarded more than $10 million in Responsible Gaming Grants.

“The Division of Gaming thanks the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission for approving these grants and commends the dedication of all the groups who received funding for their work on responsible gaming initiatives,” Division of Gaming Director Christopher Schroder said. “The efforts of these grantees will help keep the entire industry healthy as it continues to provide Coloradans the option to game responsibly in Colorado.”

The Responsible Gaming Grant program supports efforts to improve responsible gaming and problem gambling programs in Colorado, including those that address issues arising from increased gaming options. The program provides meaningful funding to encourage prevention, public awareness, treatment, recovery, data, and research on gambling addiction.

The program was established by House Bill 22-1402 to promote responsible gaming and address problem gaming in Colorado. This act enabled the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission to administer the annual grant program and award grants from the Responsible Gaming Grant Program Cash Fund to eligible applicants.

A full breakdown of the grants is available at the end of this news release. The 2026 grants are the fourth set of grants awarded, and a breakdown of previous grant recipients is available on the Division of Gaming's website at https://betsmart.colorado.gov/responsible-gaming-grants
