Colorado Division of Gaming Monthly Figures Show a 12% Increase in Wagers for Fiscal Year To Date 

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Also Increased by 12% for Fiscal Year To Date

 

Lakewood - November 21, 2024 - New monthly figures show a double-digit increase in Fiscal Year To Date Taxes and Wagers. The Colorado Department of Revenue, Division of Gaming’s October 2024 figures show Fiscal Year To Date Wagers at $1,856,920,625.15, an increase of 12.21% from October 2023, and Fiscal Year To Date Taxes collected at $11,269,915.76, an increase of 12.12% from October 2023.

Total Handle: October 2024

$601,222,030.73 (6.8% increase from September 2024)

Represents a 8.36%  increase from the total handle for October 2023 ($554,856,801.15) 

Total Handle: September 2024

$562,923,089.75

 

Total Taxes: October 2024

$2,474,940.56  (38.89% decrease from September 2024)

Represents a 25.93% decrease from October 2023 ($3,341,138.15)

Total Taxes: September 2024

$4,049,802.31

 

Fiscal Year To Date Wagers, including October 2024

$1,856,920,625.15

Represents a 12.21%  increase from the FYTD Wagers from October 2023 ($1,654,828,876.27)

Fiscal Year To Date Taxes, including October 2024

$11,269,915.76

Represents a 12.12%  increase from the FYTD Taxes from October 2023 ($10,052,072.10)
