Colorado Division of Gaming Announces June 2024 Sports Betting Figures

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Show Increase in Fiscal Year Taxes To Date Collected Over June 2023

 

Lakewood - July 29, 2024 - The Colorado Division of Gaming, part of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR), released the monthly sports betting figures for June 2024. Fiscal Year Taxes To Date show a 18.96% increase over June 2023. Here are the figures:

 

Total Handle: June 2024

$350,425,610.39 (21.7 % decrease from May 2024)

Represents a 12.8% increase from the total handle for June 2023 ($310,656,478.39)

Total Handle: May 2024

$447,561,934.48

 

Total Taxes: June 2024

$1,816,861.12 (43.34% decrease from May 2024)

Represents a 311.1% increase from June 2023 ($441,950.58)

Total Taxes: May 2024

$3,206,326.26

 

Fiscal Year Wagers To Date, including June 2024

$6,014,012,392.59

Represents a 16.18%  increase from the FYTD Wagers from June 2023 ($5,176,551,804.03)

Fiscal Year Taxes To Date, including June 2024

$30,440,608.91

Represents a 18.96% increase from the FYTD Taxes from June 2023 ($25,589,208.27)
