Colorado Division of Gaming Announces February 2024 Sports Betting Figures

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Show Increase In Taxes Collected Over February 2023

 

Lakewood - April 4, 2024 - The Colorado Division of Gaming, part of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR), released the monthly sports betting figures for February 2024. February 2024 taxes collected show a 3.57% increase in taxes collected over February 2023. Here are the figures:

Total Handle: February 2024

$536,988,261.40 (10% decrease from January 2024)

Represents a 26.31% increase from the total handle for February 2023 ($425,142,876.63)

Total Handle: January 2024

$596,685,967.76

 

Total Taxes: February 2024

$1,302,168.78 (68.46% decrease from January 2024)

Represents a 3.57% increase from February 2023 ($1,257,331.61)

Total Taxes: January 2024

$4,128,369.29

 

Fiscal Year Wagers To Date, including February 2024

$4,113,421,642.13

Represents a 15.27% increase from the FYTD Wagers from February 2023 ($3,568,398,833.44)

Fiscal Year Taxes To Date, including February 2024

$20,654,169.43

Represents a 19.78% increase from the FYTD Taxes from February 2023 ($17,243,534.48 )
