Colorado Division of Gaming Announces April 2024 Sports Betting Figures

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Show Increase in Fiscal Year Taxes To Date Collected Over April 2023

 

Lakewood - May 31, 2024 - The Colorado Division of Gaming, part of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR), released the monthly sports betting figures for April 2024. Fiscal Year Taxes To Date show a 10.85% increase over April of 2023. Here are the figures:

 

Total Handle: April 2024

$509,508,228.35 (14.09% decrease from March 2024)

Represents a 21.95% increase from the total handle for April 2023 ($417,814,147.02)

Total Handle: March 2024

$593,094,977.24

 

Total Taxes: April 2024

$1,910,655.56 (33.02% Decrease from March 2024)

Represents a 26.02% decrease from April 2023 ($2,582,614.86)

Total Taxes: March 2024

$2,852,591.54

 

Fiscal Year Wagers To Date, including April 2024

$5,216,024,847.72

Represents a 16.41% increase from the FYTD Wagers from April 2023 ($4,480,653,190.05)

Fiscal Year Taxes To Date, including April 2024

$25,417,421.53

Represents a 10.85% increase from the FYTD Taxes from April 2023 ($22,929,173.60)
