Colorado March Sports Betting Data Shows Over $26.7 Million Fiscal Year-To-Date Taxes Collected

 

Lakewood - April 28, 2025 - Colorado Division of Gaming sports betting figures for March show continued momentum for the industry in the state.

Reporting data shows an increase of 13.8% in Fiscal Year To Date (FYTD) Total Taxes collected from March 2024 as well as an 4.65% increase from the FYTD Wagers from March 2024.

All sports betting tax revenue annually is used for water conservation and protection projects, which provides a framework for helping Colorado meet its water challenges. 

 

Total Handle: March 2025

$618,044,246.70 (24.45% increase from February 2025)

Represents a 4.21% increase from the total handle for March 2024 ($593,094,977.24) 

Total Handle: February 2025

$498,628,781.25

 

Total Taxes: March 2025

$2,157,554.73 (37.13% decrease from February 2025)

Represents a 24.37% increase from March 2024 ($2,852,591.54)

Total Taxes: February 2025

$3,431,765.66

 

Fiscal Year To Date Wagers, including March 2025

$4,925,154,891.98

Represents a 4.65% increase from the FYTD Wagers from March 2024 ($4,706,516,619.37)

Fiscal Year To Date Taxes, including March 2025

$26,750,027.67

Represents a 13.08%  increase from the FYTD Taxes from March 2024 ($23,506,765.97)
