Colorado Division of Gaming Released August Sports Betting Figures

 

Lakewood, Colo. - October 6, 2023 - The Colorado Division of Gaming (part of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR)) released the August 2023 monthly sports betting figures. 

 

Total Handle: August 2023

$306,065,790.69 (8.88% increase from July 2023)

Represents a 5.5% increase from the total handle for August 2022 ($290,107,969.56)

Total Handle: July 2023

$281,110,490.36

 

Total Taxes: August 2023

$1,806,025.29 (1.53% increase from July 2023)

Represents a .89% decrease from August 2022 ($1,822,272.28)

Total Taxes: July 2023

$1,778,772.59

 

Fiscal Year Wagers To Date including August 2023

$587,176,281.05

Represents a 7.05% increase from the FYTD Wagers from August 2022 ($548,522,777.29)

Fiscal Year Taxes To Date including August 2023

$3,584,797.88

Represents a 23% increase from the FYTD Taxes from August 2022 ($2,914,453.91)
