Division of Gaming launches Bet Smart Colorado in effort to promote responsible gaming

Lakewood - March 2, 2025 - Gaming in Colorado continues to grow with January 2025 setting records in tax revenue collected at over $4.4 million.

As industry growth continues, the Colorado Division of Gaming wants to make sure that players have the knowledge to Bet Smart and play responsibly.

The Division launched Bet Smart Colorado on March 2 in an effort to promote responsible gaming during Problem Gambling Awareness Month, which is March 1 to 31.

Bet Smart Colorado, found at BetSmart.Colorado.gov, has information and resources to help Coloradans who may have developed a gambling problem, including responsible gaming support groups, registration for the Self-Exclusion List and more.

“If you or a loved one are developing a problem, Bet Smart Colorado is a great resource to get you connected and to get you support,” Division of Gaming Director Christopher Schroder said. “The Division of Gaming is committed to maintaining the integrity of gaming in the Centennial State and part of that is educating Coloradans on the resources that are available.”

Problem Gambling Awareness Efforts
