Colorado Division of Gaming Monthly Figures Show A 10.67% Increase in Wagers for Fiscal Year To Date

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Also Increased by 31.95% for Fiscal Year To Date

 

Lakewood - December 23, 2024 - The Colorado Department of Revenue, Division of Gaming released the November sports betting figures today that show double digit growth in both Fiscal Year To Date Wagers and Fiscal Year To Date Taxes.

These figures show a 10.67% increase in Fiscal Year To Date Wagers as well as a 31.95% increase in Fiscal Year To Date Taxes Collected.

Total Handle: November 2024

$647,951,807.02  (7.7% increase from October 2024)

Represents a 6.49%  increase from the total handle for November 2023 ($608,488,266.48) 

Total Handle: October 2024

$601,222,030.73 

 

Total Taxes: November 2024

$3,958,611.17  (59.95% increase from October 2024)

Represents a 165.82% increase from November 2023 ($1,489,224.47)

Total Taxes: October 2024

$2,474,940.56 

 

Fiscal Year To Date Wagers, including November 2024

$2,504,872,432.17

Represents a 10.67%  increase from the FYTD Wagers from November 2023 ($2,263,317,142.75)

Fiscal Year To Date Taxes, including November 2024

$15,228,526.93

Represents a 31.95%  increase from the FYTD Taxes from November 2023 ($11,541,296.57)
