Colorado Division of Gaming Announces July 2024 Sports Betting Figures

Taxes Collected on Sports Betting Show Increase in Fiscal Year Taxes To Date Collected Over July 2023

 

Lakewood - August 29, 2024 - The Colorado Division of Gaming, part of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR), released the monthly sports betting figures for July 2024. 

 

The Colorado Division of Gaming reported a 33.22% increase in fiscal year sports betting taxes collected through July 2024 compared to the same period last year, reflecting continued growth in the state's betting industry. 

 

 Here are the figures:

 

Total Handle: July 2024

$320,396,840.88 (8.57% decrease from June 2024)

Represents a 13.98% increase from the total handle for July 2023 ($281,110,490.36)

Total Handle: June 2024

$350,425,610.39

 

Total Taxes: July 2024

$2,369,730.08  (30.43% increase from June 2024)

Represents a 33.22% increase from July 2023 ($1,778,772.59)

Total Taxes: June 2024

$1,816,861.12

 

Fiscal Year Wagers To Date, including July 2024

$320,396,840.88

Represents a 13.98%  increase from the FYTD Wagers from July  2023 ($281,110,490.36)

Fiscal Year Taxes To Date, including July 2024

$2,369,730.08

Represents a 33.22% increase from the FYTD Taxes from July 2023 ($1,778,772.59)
