LED - Operation Updates

March 17, 2020

Dear Liquor Industry Members and Stakeholders,

We realize these are unprecedented times right now. It is our greatest hope that during this time, all participants in the Colorado Liquor Industry continue to remain safe and well. Governor Polis has ordered the closure or reduction in services of many Liquor licensees. Closure is effective at 8:00 AM on March 17, 2020, and for the next 30 days. Our offices will also be closed to the public at this time.

Staff will be working and available to answer questions. We encourage open communication with the Liquor Enforcement Division (LED) as questions arise. As we all know the information and situation surrounding COVID-19 is rapidly changing. We will keep the industry informed as the Department is made aware of situations that affect the Colorado LED offices and the Liquor industry.

We are receiving many questions regarding alcohol delivery, product returns, extension of credit, and the delay of license renewals. These items require review from offices outside of the LED, and the correct decision makers have been made aware of your concerns.

Communication is key for all of us at this time. Please reach out to the LED via phone, (303) 205-2300 or email, dor_led@state.co.us.

Once again please accept our gratitude as we work through this difficult time together. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Best Regards,

Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division
