The Division recently received information from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation regarding the submission of fingerprints for the criminal history background check required by 18-12-407, C.R.S. Due to the effective date of Section 4 of HB24-1353, the CBI will begin accepting fingerprints on July 1, 2025. 18-12-407(5)(a), C.R.S. requires current employees to submit fingerprints no later than July 8, 2025 to continue employment. It is recommended that all individuals required to submit fingerprints schedule appointments as soon as possible with either IdentoGo or Colorado Fingerprinting.
IdentoGo will schedule appointments 2-3 months in advance by email at uenroll.identogo.com. If dealers have several individuals who are required to submit fingerprints, or if multiple businesses want to consolidate employees into a large group, IdentoGo offers a mobile fingerprinting service that will come to your location for one or more days.
