The Marijuana Enforcement Division has contracted with two third-party Proficiency Testing (PT) providers for Contaminants: metals, microbial, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and pesticides, and the Department of Public Health and Environment's Laboratory Services for Potency. The Division requires licensed Testing Facilities to participate in Proficiency Testing in these categories (Contaminants and Potency) to maintain or obtain certification. Successful participation in Proficiency Testing is a requirement for certification according to MED Rules 5-415, 5-435, 6-415, and 6-435.
