On March 16, 2020, Governor Polis ordered the closure of all Colorado Department of Revenue public-facing offices. The closure is in effect beginning on March 18, 2020, and is in place until further notice. The Division of Racing Events Main Lakewood office will be closed to the public during this time. Beginning on June 8, 2020, the Division track offices will be open for appointments only. Staff will be working and available to answer questions.
- Submitting Licenses
The Division is encouraging licensees to submit license applications through the following methods:
- Applications forms may be completed online, via pdf forms, and submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All license application materials are available on the Division of Racing Event's website. Applications may also be submitted during the racing season at the track offices by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling the Division office at 303-690-6910.
All validations and vehicle registrations are to be completed by using the Division online validation and vehicle registration systems. QR codes created for touch-free access to applications will be posted outside the office track doors and throughout the backside to directly access the validation, registrations, and application systems.
The Division staff would ask that you complete your yearly validation and vehicle registrations online before coming to the park.
- All renewal applications are to be completed online, if possible. Renewal of three-year licenses can be completed with the renewal application online.
